I am extremely dissatisfied with this consultation experience. Due to an accident, I needed emergency contraception, and since it is more effective the earlier it is taken, I chose to have an online consultation through Doctorsa. However, the doctor only spoke with me for three minutes and told me that I could simply print her prescription and use it to purchase the medication. When I asked her which pharmacy I should go to, she said that any pharmacy would be fine.
After I finally found a print shop and printed the prescription in color, I then spent two hours visiting three pharmacies that were still open on Saturday—Alma Pharmacy; PatikaPlus Gyógyszertár (Duna Pláza); and Oroszlán Gyógyszertár. All of them told me that they only accept original handwritten prescriptions and do not accept printed prescriptions at all.
As a Hungarian doctor, she failed to inform me of this crucial fact during those three minutes. If she had done so, I could have gone directly to her location to obtain a physical handwritten prescription before going to the pharmacy. I emailed her at 2:00 PM, but she did not reply until two hours later, and I was unable to reach her Swedish phone number.
Emergency contraception is only effective within 24 hours. As a tourist, I felt extremely helpless and anxious. In the end, I was only able to take the medication after 5:00 PM (after spending five hours running around without even having lunch).
Compared to wasting 30 euros on a three-minute consultation, what upset me far more was that my entire afternoon was wasted in frustration and anxiety. I strongly request a refund of the consultation fee, as the doctor provided no effective help and caused me to lose valuable time unnecessarily.
